Urban Horizon:

Multi-Drone Footage x 3D Building

Multi-View Integration: 3D Architectural Visualization with Drone Footage

This project explores how multiple drone perspectives can be combined with a single 3D architectural model to achieve a coherent and immersive urban visualization. By aligning the 3D skyscraper with several aerial shots of the same area, the workflow demonstrates the potential of integrating photorealistic architecture across different camera angles while maintaining consistency in scale, lighting, and realism.

Why Multi-Shot Integration Matters

Using more than one drone angle introduces complexity but also expands storytelling opportunities. Instead of a single static viewpoint, developers and architects can see how a conceptual building interacts with its environment from multiple vantage points from wide skyline views to close-up street-level shots.

This approach is particularly valuable for:

  • Showcasing large-scale high-rise projects in urban centers

  • Producing marketing campaigns that require cinematic variety

  • Building stakeholder presentations that highlight different perspectives on the same development

  • Creating immersive content that feels dynamic, real, and future-focused

Workflow Insights

The key to this workflow is planning. The drone footage dictates the main camera movement for the 3D renderings, which means selecting the right shots early on directly impacts the quality of the final integration. By carefully aligning the 3D model with multiple clips, this project proves that photorealistic coherence can be achieved across varying camera paths and angles.

Still Renderings as Added Value

Alongside the video flythrough, high resolution stills were captured directly from the integrated scenes. These images serve as standalone marketing assets, making the workflow not only cinematic but also practical for presentations, print materials, and digital campaigns.

About the Project

Developed by Jericho Domingo, this proof of concept is part of an ongoing exploration into merging drone cinematography with advanced 3D architectural visualization. The goal is to push the boundaries of how large-scale real estate and urban projects are presented, turning concepts into immersive visual experiences.
